The results are in for the Irish 2015 Referendum. And I was wondering how the Venn Diagram might look for these results. I will have to assume that the probability of voting Yes on the Marriage Amendment is the same as that for the Presidential Amendment. It is impossible to know from simple counting if they are independent. It is likely they are not… one could form a better estimate from using some survey/questionnaire data.
