Here is my review of the Exam:
Question 1: Oliver Murphy would be pleased :) it is a question very similar to one in his book.
Question 2: Standard “solving a cubic”. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Question 3: Another very standard question, again nothing out of the ordinary.
Question 4: The question is basically asking the reader to compute $\frac{1}{2+3i} + \frac{1}{3-2i}$. The second part is rather interesting, using the GP Sum Formula on Complex Numbers.
Question 5: Standard square it and solve it question, followed with a chain rule and finally finding a turning point.
Question 6: A bog standard borrow-money-how-much-is-the-repayments question.
Question 7: Co-ordinate Geometry and Calculus problem, not too tricky.
Question 8: A regular Area, Volume and Rate of Change Problem.
Question 9: A standard trigonometry problem with at least an interesting explanation of what the function represents.
